Mike picked up a brochure at the Red Cottage Inn for the PEZ Museum in Burlingame (1/2 hour away). He was excited to see they have the "world's largest PEZ dispenser" and the complete collection of all dispensers ever made.
Imagine our surprise when we drove by the museum three times before Michael spotted it, located behind a small storefront window. Nonetheless, we got an interesting 5-minute tour of the collection and were surprised to learn PEZ were made in Austria and "Pez" is an abbreviation for the German "Pfefferminz," the flavor the candies had the first decade they were produced.
