Stanford Dish Walk

Patrick and Michael had the day off school for Thanksgiving "vacation," so we thought on Georg's last day here, we'd take the Stanford Dish walk Mary had mentioned several times.

I figured the "Dish" was just the circular path, but of course found out that it refers to a radiotelescope, still in use.

Michael was NOT thrilled by the 1 1/2 hour walk and said when he grows up, he is not going to make his kids go on walks. Luckily, the excursion was somewhat saved by making a little competition of counting the number of squirrels. In one section, we saw over 60.
