Friday Surprise: Turkey Craft

Georg and I helped Michael's class with their "Friday Surprise." Ms. Guerra does a hangman like game throughout the week with the letters

"__ __ __ __ __ __

__ __ __ __ __ __ __ __,"

and when the class has behaved particularly well, they get one to the letters filled in. When the words "Friday Surprise" are spelled out, they are entitled to a special activity on a Friday, led by parents.

Michael suggested we do a Thanksgiving craft rather than my idea of German games. We found this paper bag turkey craft on the Kaboose website. Mike's paper bag turkey is on the left, and I thought our neighbor around the corner's turkey was especially nice--Lauren wanted the photo without a smile though!
