Last night I "snuck out" to Kepler's bookstore to listen to Amy Bloom, senior lecturer of creative writing at Yale, read from her latest book Where the God of Love Hangs Out. What a treat just to sit back and listen to a famous author read one of her short stories aloud. I loved her voice. And her writing was SO GOOD. Oh my gosh, I was really in awe. She was so funny, too.
Came home with my $25 signed souvenir and look forward to reading it!
