The whole thing (including having our power go out when it was raining on Monday) got me thinking about how Germans are always later than Americans with things--whether Internet access or telephones or toilets--but once they get them, they do it right. I don't remember the electricity ever going out on Birkenweg (cables are underground) and we don't even own a plunger there. Oh my.
So now we have Internet access, but I am chained to the desk in the boys bedroom because we haven't gotten Wi-Fi going yet. We eagerly await Mark's visit tomorrow!
