Arrived in California Safely!

Yesterday's United flight to San Francisco was uneventful. Usually I write zillions of letters and such during flights, but this time, I didn't even open my bag except to get out my passport in order to fill out the information for the customs form!

It never ceases to amaze me how easy it is to fly with "children" above a certain age. Nick drew most of the flight, Patrick played with his iPod, and Michael did a puzzle book, searched for Waldo in "Where's Waldo" book, and played Nintendo.

I watched "500 Days of Summer," "Love Happens," "Four Christmases" (again!) and "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs." Prefer Delta's food and more legroom, but couldn't beat the direct flight! So it was a pretty easy day. Then Mary was right outside the terminal with the Jeep...and even had a CARE bag for us with snacks and treats for the carride.

We enjoyed returning to a Christmassy house on Evergreen Street and fell asleep soon after!
