Was glad Patrick shook off the headache and bit of feverishness he had during the day and was able to join me. Both of us agreed, seeing a show in 3D and bumping into the actors after the show was an exhilarating experience.
The actors were so talented--the doubling, tripling, and quadrupling of parts was always believable. Patrick's favorite character was a fellow who played a horse, Daveed Diggs (to his right in the photo)! I was so touched by the woman who played Mary Todd Lincoln's friend and seamstress, Kelly Wright (to Patrick's left).
Patrick was interested in the spotlights, the miniature microphones taped onto the actors' foreheads, and his criminal mind noticed how easy it would be to steal a lot of jackets during intermission!
