Mother's Day

Mother's Day was very sweet. Michael was up at 6:15 to make me breakfast--I told him, really, 7:00 would be more than early enough for that, but he couldn't wait and went straight to work. So I had a relaxing breakfast and enjoyed reading his pretty pink heart card before leaving at 8 for my TESOL course in San Jose.

Came home and the elf Patrick had put together the whole patio dining set during my absence and Nick sketched a gorgeous rose with a gift certificate for breakfast in bed. Lucky me to have boys with both mechanical and artistic talents! Picked up Michael from Mary and Mark's and he had a beautiful bouquet of flowers for me from the Roses' garden! And the Roses sent us home with a pot of delicious chili, so I didn't have to cook!

Except for my having to go to the certification course, it was a perfect Mother's Day!
