Busy day in the Bay area today! Laura went to her TESOL course in San Jose, Bennett went with Michael, Sam, and Elise to Maker Faire in San Mateo, Nick had to work on his Tourette's PowerPoint presentation, Patrick met with some classmates to write a group mystery story for English...and then we all gathered in Los Altos to celebrate Mom's 71st birthday!
It's always a treat celebrating in Mary and Mark's home, also with Micki and Ken, Mark's parents, who are in town for Mark's birthday this week as well!! We had delicious gourmet pizza, then whiffleball outdoors for the older boys, running around for the younger ones, and toddler car driving for the little girls.
Finished the event with Baskin Robbins ice cream cake and card opening. Beautiful flowers and ambience:)
