The Tonight Show Taping

Nick and I got to Jay Leno's studio in Burbank with reservation letter in hand at 2:45 for the 4:00 taping. Stood in line a while, hoping we'd get in because the letter and little tickets (212 and 213), clearly stated there was no guarantee we'd get seats. But we did, and was great fun--getting revved up by the Tonight Show band, laughing hard, shouting, and clapping, especially when the "applause" sign went on :)

Zachary Levi was a fun guest, telling about how he was an MC for his hometown's St. Patrick's Day parade, Bear Grylls, who I hadn't heard of, surprised me with his strong British accent, and I was so impressed by up-and-coming 16-year-old pop star Justin Bieber, who was a GREAT singer and really funny in his interview (only realized his buying the website "Funny or Die" was an April Fool's joke at dinner). Nick really enjoyed how Jay made fun of the audience members before the taping. Watched the show at 11:34 p.m. and thought the audience (we) did a great job in making the atmosphere:)
