Michael had been eyeing the magic carpet "ride" since arrival. Today was our day to go out to Laura D's place near Red Rock, see where she, Elijah, Wiley, and Dooley hang out, see the West a bit, and just have a non-Vegasy day, but Laura twisted her ankle during her performance last night, so had to go to the doctor instead of picking us up already for breakfast. While we were waiting for her call, Michael convinced me do the souvenir carpet ride. Turned out to be so much fun doing the DVD, I ended up buying it! Patrick doesn't want me to upload it, but if I can figure out how to do it myself, then I am allowed. We really look as though we are having a blast flying around Las Vegas, so wish me luck!
The sad end of today's story though was that Laura spent the day going from doctor to doctor to hospital, and it turns out she has a torn tendon, so we weren't able to meet up after all:(
