Leap Year Teenager Patrick turns 14! Another year of life under his belt, a seemingly great year with lots of videomaking experience and now involvement with his school's daily television broadcast.
So the question is always when do you celebrate a Feb. 29 birthday when there is no Feb. 29 on the calendar? The last day of February or the day after February 28? Patrick chose to celebrate on the Saturday closest to the 29th, so everyone would have time to hang out and he wouldn't have to worry about school the next day!
The big treat was going to the park with Uncle Mark's remote control car that goes faster that you can imagine possible, faster than the little dog who chased it to exhaustion, and much faster than the toddlers who were drawn to the group of us watching a car whipping around the field.
