With Georg in town, we decided to be tourists and take the double-decker bus tour of downtown San Francisco with stops at Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, City Hall, Union Square, and Chinatown.
The highlight was definitely lunch at House of Nanking in Chinatown. The Flower Blossom Tea was amazing. Saw another table had tea with flowers in it, whereas ours just had some green ball. What a surprise when we looked down a few minutes later to see the green ball had opened to reveal white flower blossoms.
While we were rushing to catch the 1:30 tour bus, a fellow on the street pushed a fancy balloon sword into Michael's hands. I was already 20 steps ahead and couldn't stop to argue with a child who wouldn't want to return a "gift" or pay the man who "gave" it to him, so Michael just thought, "what a nice man" and enjoyed the sword for most of the day until it popped.
